8. Chevrolet Colorado. This midsize beauty offers multiple trim levels as well as a two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive option. Is fuel efficiency a must? This is the perfect option as they are equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is surprisingly powerful.

4. Toyota Tacoma. Toyota has made a name for itself over the years as the Tacoma is one of the leading pickups in the industry. It comes in four-cylinder and six-cylinder options. Plus, you can choose from a rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive drivetrain.
